Digital technology turns media consumers into media producers, 'In your own experience, how has your creativity developed through using digital technology to complete your coursework production?'
As a digital native, I naturally knew a fair bit about digital technology which helped me get started with my coursework production. however I have developed my creativity and technology skills throughout the time I have been been working on my media productions for the last couple of years.
At the start of media, I set up a blog for myself to display all of the work I had done throughout the year. When I first started using blogger I only used some very basic skills such as decorating the background which involved creativity. Also I posted a lot of Slideshare presentations as it was much simpler to create a Powerpoint and use Slideshare to transfer it onto blogger than it was to use any more complex presentation devices. As I started to get more experienced with blogger I used much more creative methods to present my posts such as using Prezi and Emaze to add sound and movement to the presentation, making it more interesting for people looking at my blog to watch. Furthermore I started to add more links into the blog such as social media links and links to all of the blog posts, making it them easier to find.
When I started using 'Adobe Premiere Pro CS6' I created really simple edits such as dancing animals which just consisted of cutting clips together to make a montage of dancing animals. I learnt the basics of importing and exporting videos which came in helpful later on through my time as a media student.
